PORTA KMI POLAND is the leading producer of door leaves and frames in Poland. The Company has been active on the market of joinery since 1992 and it is now the largest and the most dynamically developing door producer in the country. PORTA KMI POLAND is a member of a strong group of companies – Baltis Investment S.A. – together with such recognized developer companies as Invest Komfort and SGI Baltis From the very beginning the high quality production and satisfaction of the most demanding customers have been a priority for the Company. This is confirmed by the ISO 9001 quality certificate that Porta was granted in 1998.
Porta KMI Poland includes 5 door manufacturing plants (four in Poland and one in Romania) which produce over 80 thousand door leaves and 65 thousand door frames on the average per month. High quality of products is the result of the modern and automated production processes. The Company owns equipment which includes the most modern machines and devices for door leaf and frame production purchased from the German and Italian producers. Porta also cooperates with the renowned world suppliers of raw materials and door accessories to achieve the highest standard of its products.
PORTA KMI POLAND has always been striving to obtain all necessary certificates and technical approvals issued by the accredited research institute to confirm the functional properties of the products used in the building industry.
To our customers we offer internal doors, internal entrance doors, outer entrance and industrial doors, which may be used in the residential buildings, hotels, offices, public buildings and industrial premises.
INTERNAL DOORS
The internal door offer includes
two types of doors: single or double leaved flush and panelled doors.
Depending on the model selected the leaf core is made of honeycomb
stabilizing insert, perforated or plain chipboard. The different
designs (flat, milled, solid, glazed, with aluminium or relief board
inserts) and wide colour range of different finishes (lacquers,
laminates, natural and modified artificial and natural veneers) of
doors offered are available. Furthermore, the internal doors may be
made sliding using the systems offered by PORTA for the sliding
doors.
TECHNICAL DOORS
In order to meet the demands of the investment market and Building Code requirements Porta KMI Poland included in its offer dedicated industrial doors. In view of the use of high quality materials and advanced processes for their production these doors have improved parameters (e.g. sound insulation, fire resistance, resistance to external factors) which have been measured and confirmed by many tests and examinations in the dedicated laboratories.
EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL ENTRANCE DOORS
The internal
entrance doors offered by PORTA have the structure of flush doors,
while the type of insert used (perforated chipboard, layered
chipboards, bar reinforced chipboard) is strictly associated with the
door function (e.g. improved sound insulation, fire resistance of
anti-burglary resistance). With a view to various aesthetic
requirements of the customers we offer two type of door leaves:

flat leaves finished with CPL or natural veneer
•
milled leaves finished PVC wood-like veneer.
Apart from the internal entrance doors referred to above (used in the apartment buildings) Porta KMI Poland also offers external doors which are durable due to the materials resistant to atmospheric conditions. Among the external entrance doors offered by PORTA there are doors made of metal sheet draw pieces and wooden frame doors with thermally insulating inserts. The offered external entrance doors may be glazed, while in the case of Gdynia models the doors may be provided with side- and toplights.

DOOR FRAMES
It
is generally known that to have a complete door set door frames are
needed, therefore, PORTA suggests suitable frames which fit a given
door leaf both technically and aesthetically. Modern design and
availability of many finishes (e.g. synthetic or natural veneers) are
without any doubt specific features of the door frames we offer.
Furthermore, apart form the standard door frames we also offer
systems for sliding doors. In view of high requirements imposed by
the developers and investors we also offer a number of non-standard
solutions such as production of leaves and frames to the ordered
dimensions, completion of non-standard leaves, painting of leaves and
metal frames with paints compliant with RAL or NCS chart, production
of swinging type doors, production of metal frames according to a
particular profile order for different wall widths, as well as many
other alternatives. PORTA KMI POLAND also ensures
technical support, expert consultations and professional assembly and
product data training to its partners and contractors.
DISTRIBUTION
The PORTA products are sold through
a network of almost 100 dealers in the sales rooms and warehouses in
the large Polish cities. The PORTA dealers cooperate with Authorised
Retail Outlets so that Porta products are available throughout the
whole country.
