DOOR LEAF CONSTRUCTION

The door leaf consists of a finger jointed softwood or MDF frame filled with stabilizing honeycomb core or reinforced perforated chipboard (option at an extra charge) and covered from both sides with HDF boards.

LEAF EDGE PROFILE

“K” profile leaf edge.
Both side edges and the upper edge of the leaf covered with leaf-colored skirting tape.

FINISHING

The door leaf is veneered with Portadecor veneer. MDF frame is veneered using the colour of a door leaf. Narrow light and sash frames are varnished using the colour of a door leaf.

NOTES

• Preparing for shortening, for an additional charge, applies only to honeycomb core leaves. The perforated chipboard and solid chipboard come with core come with preparation for shortening as standard.
